Dave was two years old when his father started the insurance agency, and has literally grown up in the agency. Dave came to work full time in 1991 after graduating from Ithaca College and has led the organization as president since 1998. Dave holds the professional designations of Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Professional Insurance Agent. In addition to running the day to day operations of the agency, he serves as the agency's lead sales person.

Dave is active in the New York State Professional Insurance Agents Association, formerly serving on its board of directors. In addition, outside the office, Dave has served the youth of our community in multiple sports coaching roles and as a leader in Boy Scouts.

Dave has been a member of the Odessa Baptist Church since childhood, and is active as a member of the choir and on its board of trustees.

Dave has been married to his wife, (Sharon) since 1993. They have two sons, Lee and Charles, and a daughter Ida.

Neil joined our agency after working in the financial planning and benefits field.  Prior to that he spent several years as a school teacher.  Neil's focus is on assisting customers with thier purchasing desicions for commercial, and personal insurance as well as life, benefits and financial planning.

Neil lives in Montour Falls with his wife, Kristi and their children.  He has spent several years coaching youth athletics.  He enjoys getting out-doors and hunting and fishing.

Dave started in the insurance industry in 1962 as a claims adjuster and later claims manager for National Grange Mutual and the Hartford Insurance Companies. In 1972 he purchased the Mildred A. Piper Agency, and gave the agency his own name. In the years that followed, using ?Service is our product? as his motto, Dave and his wife Sandra, oversaw a great expansion of their business.

Now in semi-retirement, Dave has a history of involvement in the New York State Professional Insurance Agents Association, serving on its board of directors. Outside the office, Dave also has a long history of community involvement volunteering in 4-H, Boy Scouts, and Rotary International.

Dave is a member of the Odessa Baptist Church, where he has served in several leadership positions over the years.

Dave has been married to his wife Sandra since 1961. The have three daughters Diana (VanLoon), Margaret (Manning), and Karen (Gunning) and one son, David. They have also been blessed with 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren (so far).

From the beginning, Sandra has been a part of the Sidle Insurance team, currently handling most of our life, disability, and health insurance clients. Her years of insurance experience are invaluable.

Outside the office, Sandra has volunteered as a leader in 4-H, and Cub-Scouts, and also served in leadership positions on the boards of deacons, and trustees within the Odessa Baptist Church. She is a member of Zonta International.

Sandra; with her husband raised their four children. While, like her husband, (Dave Sr.) she is now in semi-retirement, she too still finds herself involved in the business daily from their home office.

Sharon Sidle joined our team in 1993. While Sharon is a licensed agent in both property and casualty and life and health, the majority of her duties fall outside of insurance. Sharon handles most of our accounting and technology needs.

Like the rest of the family, Sharon is also involved as a volunteer. For several years, Sharon served as a Cub Scout Leader and as director of Schuyler County's Cub Scout Day Camp. She also volunteers in the classrooms of her children. She is a member of the Odessa Baptist Church and volunteers on its fund raising committee and in other capacities.  Most recently, she started a new volunteer initiative.  She is the leader of a Troop of American Heritage Girls.

With her husband Dave, she is raising their three children.

Anita graduated from Corning East High School and immediately entered the work force. After several jobs she can to work at Sidle Insurance in 1984. She became a licensed insurance agent in 1994.

Anita has a long history of being involved in our community serving in several capacities chiefly among them, Schuyler County Youth Commission, Town of Hector's Smith Park Committee, the Village of Burdett Fire Department Auxiliary, and the Montour Moose Auxiliary. In addition she has volunteered for the American Cancer Society, the Burdett Presbyterian Church, and the Lake Country Players.

Anita enjoys gardening, swimming and reading. She lives in Burdett with her husband Al, has two grown daughters Cassie and Melanie and five grand sons.

Heather graduated from Odessa Montour Central School in 1996. She graduated from Corning Community College in 1999 with an associate's degree in business administrative.

She joined Sidle Insurance in 2000, and became a licensed insurance agent in 2003. In 2009 she obtained her professional designation as a Certified Insurance Service Representative.

She enjoys basketball and bowling in her spare time. Heather lives with her husband Jake in Alpine, NY, along with their son Breyden Tyler, and their family dog, a dachshund, named Mickey.

Hailing from the Sidney, NY area, Polly has been a Schuyler County resident for a number of years.

Polly has a number or years of experience in commercial and personal insurance, and is eager to assist you with any insurance need.

Previous to her insurance employment she was a Manager with Verizon Telecom for 16 years.

As a customer focused, concerned, Insurance Professional she also balances her work here with her family; husband Frank and four daughters and a busy schedule as a soccer and swim Mom.

Originally from Corning, Heather  has grown up here in the fingerlakes area. 

Amanda is a relative newcomer to Sidle Insurance.  Amanda has worked in the banking industry for a number of years.  Amanda is a graduate of Odessa-Montour Central School, and currenltly lives in Elmira Heights. 

Amanda is a proven insurance professional and works in both personal and commercial lines.

A self described work-a-holic, Amanda is a licenced insurance agent, and has quickly become a valuable member of our service team.
